For Case load analysis to be effective, it can not stand in isolation. If it is to become a truly unifying model, it must not only acknowledge the existence of other initiative, activities, and models, but it must demonstrate its ability to include the best of these other initiatives, to integrate them within its own parameters, and to demonstrate the linkages, the philosophical consistently and to show that a choice to adopt CLA does not mea a choice to disregard or invalidate other models.
It seems important to recognize that there are countless other models and approaches on the palette in this field today - and it probably does not need another one. What the filed needs instead is a model that begins to bring together the pieces and parts and consolidate them into a single, all encompassing model that enables an articulation of best practice, an illustration of tools and techniques, and a framework that supports continues improvement of the model itself.
In Ohio, there are a series of other initiatives. listed below. Connected to each is a first draft by volunteers showing the relationship between the initiative and CLA.
