 Workload Management

A process for balancing hours of work (demand) with hours of capacity.

Workload Management/Level of Service

We agreed on the following:

A.     So far, the only proven approach to managing the day to day workload in a way that adds value is the Project Planning/Task Planning approach which asks:

§        What is the ultimate objective and target completion date??

§        What are all the things that should be done to accomplish the objective?

§        Who shall do them?

§        How long will they take?

§        When will they be done?

B.     We believe that there is value in the more aggregate approach represented by the Level of Service model, but that the value is in helping to summarize the more detailed workload/case load data to communicate case load trends to community, boards, etc.

Actions Identified:

a.       Draft a consensus document that describes in detail the CLA ILF position re: Workload management
